Mega wins for Gayhurst

Sunday 20^th May saw the Buckinghamshire Chess MegaFinal held at Wycombe High School in which several players from Gayhurst took part.

In the under 7 boys event, Year 2 pupil Lee, finished as the top Bucks under 7 boy and was awarded the  “Under 7 Supremo” trophy.  Another Year 2 pupil, Joshua finished equal second with a silver medal.

In the under 7 girls event, Tula finished as the top Bucks under 7 girl and was awarded the “ Under 7 Suprema” trophy.  All three players have been invited to represent Buckinghamshire in the South of England GigaFinal June 30^th/July 1^st in Twickenham.

In the Under 10 event Year 5 pupil, Yash, finished 21^st just missing out on an invitation to the South of England GigaFinal.
