Out and about for STEM week

On Thursday the whole of the Senior School (years 3, 4, 5 and 6) went on trips to support their focus on STEM subjects.  Year 3 went to The Living Rainforest which is home to over 700 species of plants and animals.  They came face to face with some unusual creatures in specially adapted living quarters.

Year 4 went to LEGOland where so many of the models are a fantastic example of engineering.  Year 6 went to Bletchley Park, the home of the Codebreakers where they discovered how Mathematics played an important part in cracking WWII codes.

Year 5 visited the amazing Science Museum in London.  The girls and boys were able to view and take part in many interactive models and exhibitions.
