The tradition of SinterKlass

Fleur’s Daddy is from Holland and he has told her all about SinterKlass visiting children in Holland on 6^th December. Fleur enjoyed sharing the traditions with 2J. Sinterklass arrives on a white horse and parades around the city giving out Kruidnoten, small, round gingerbread-like cookies to the children. Fleur brought some Kruidnoten to share with the class. She told us that children are given a chocolate letter matching the first letter of their name. We were all very envious of Fleur’s chocolate ‘F’!
