Two in Trouble…

Two of Gayhurst’s Year 6 pupils have been selected to perform in a West End production of Trouble’s A Brewin’ which is staged by the PQA (The Pauline Quirk Academy of Performing Arts).  Isobel and Charlie who are both members of the Amersham PQA are thrilled to have auditioned for, and secured, the roles of Wyatt Burp, the dumb sidekick (Charlie) and main character, Sheriff Trifle (Isobel). The performance will take place at Her Majesty’s Theatre which is on Haymarket, on February 15th 2019.

Both Isobel and Charlie are delighted to be involved with this production which involves singing and dancing as well as acting.  They have their PQA drama teacher Matt and Musical Theatre teacher Gabby, to thank for the teaching and inspiration which has got them to this point.

Miss Jenny Carr, Gayhurst’s Head of Music and Drama said, “it is always very exciting news when our students are cast in productions outside of school and for Isobel and Charlie, the chance to perform in the West End is what every young actor’s dreams are made of”.
