Year 6 Shielding

Year 6 children are studying the Vikings in History this term. They were set a project, to be done over half term, where they were tasked with using any type of materials they wished to create a Viking shield. The children were able to take inspiration from the previous shields that were presented in assembly and displayed on the stairwell last year and conduct further research themselves.

Mr Davies and Mrs D’Sa Papp had the unenviable job of choosing a winner from each class. What a fantastic, colourful display of shields we had this year and well done to the creative winners who all received the biggest bars of chocolate I have ever seen!
