Year 6 take on new responsibilities

As Gayhurst opened its doors, to pupils old and new this morning, it did so for the very first time as a Nursery to Year 6 (age 3 to 11) School.

It is an exciting new era for the School and especially for the Year 6 Pupils who have been challenged with leading the School as it’s eldest pupils.

The girls and boys of Year 6 will be taking on new responsibilities and the first to be announced this morning, by Headmaster Mr Davies, was the position of Head Girl and Head Boy.

Amelia and Finlay spent some time today talking about their role as Gayhurst’s very first Head Girl and Boy with Mr Davies, Headmaster and Mr Bushnell, Deputy Head.

We wish them all the very best with their exciting new challenge.
