About Ms Brown
Raised and educated locally in Chorleywood, Rachel always had an interest in the world beyond the leafy Home Counties. Having travelled to Africa and North America before studying Primary Education at Leeds Carnegie, Rachel was keen to keep travelling during those long student summers and welcomed the opportunity to teach English to children in rural Barcelona.
On returning to the UK, Rachel took on the role of Assistant Head at an independent school in Surrey. However, the allure to return to the local area soon made her realise there really is no place like home.
