Wraparound Care & Enrichment at Gayhurst School

At Gayhurst, we understand that busy family life needs flexibility—and we’re here to support you every step of the way. Our wraparound care is designed to make the school day work for you, while enriching your child’s experience beyond the classroom.

We offer a generous drop-off window each morning, giving parents the freedom to arrive at a time that suits them and helps avoid the inevitable traffic rush. For those needing extended hours, our Breakfast Club and Supper Club (available at an additional charge) provide a warm, welcoming start and end to the day, complete with nutritious meals and engaging activities.

All children from Nursery upwards enjoy a healthy, freshly prepared lunch included in the school fees. Our meals are more than just fuel—they’re an education in taste, encouraging children to explore new flavours and develop healthy eating habits for life.

After the school day ends, our free wind-down clubs run until 5.15pm, offering a relaxed and enjoyable space for children to unwind. In addition, we offer an extensive programme of termly clubs and activities for children from Reception to Year 6. These range from sports and music to coding, drama, and creative arts—ensuring every child has the opportunity to discover new interests and develop their talents.

Throughout the year, children also take part in a wide variety of school trips, designed to enhance their learning and open their eyes to the wider world. Whether it’s a museum visit, a nature walk, or a cultural experience, these outings are a vital part of our commitment to broad, balanced education.
