Head of MFL

Gayhurst welcomes applications from a dedicated linguist to become Head of MFL. The successful candidate will be an innovative MFL teacher with excellent classroom practice and an ability to instil a passion for languages in all children from Nursery to Year 6. Applicants who are able to teach both Spanish and French will have a distinct advantage.

The ability to work in a team and enrich pupils’ learning is essential, as is the willingness to make a wider contribution to the school beyond the classroom.

The possibility of coordinating EAL alongside MFL may also be considered.

Key Stage 2 Teacher (Maternity Cover)

Gayhurst is seeking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated Key Stage Two Teacher to join our friendly and highly professional team. The successful candidate will be an innovative teacher with excellent classroom practice, a detailed knowledge of the curriculum from Year 3 to Year 6 and the ability and willingness to teach multiple subjects at Key Stage Two. Any mix of subjects will be considered however candidates with a preference to teach English will have a distinct advantage. This will be a one-year maternity cover contract.

The ability to work in a team and get the best out of pupils is essential, as is the willingness to make a wider contribution to the school beyond the classroom.
