Head of Maths (Sept 2020)

Gayhurst is seeking an inspiring Head of Maths to lead the teaching of this important subject across the school. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of a Maths curriculum relevant for 11+ assessments for grammar and independent school entry and be able to inspire both teachers and pupils. Prior experience of working in a prep school will be advantageous.

The post is for September 2020 and the salary will be commensurate with experience and the responsibility of the post as head of a core subject.

Assistant Head – Teaching & Learning

(September 2020)

Gayhurst is seeking an Assistant Head Teaching & Learning to oversee and lead the academic development of the school. A creative educationalist is sought with a strong understanding of pedagogical developments, who can inspire both staff and students with a vibrant and contemporary curriculum. The successful candidate will join the school’s Senior Leadership Team and will be well supported in shaping and delivering the school’s academic vision. Previous experience in a prep school and knowledge of 11+ assessments for grammar and independent school entry will be beneficial. The post is for September 2020 and the salary will be on the Leadership Scale commensurate with experience.
