HR & Compliance Officer
(September 2024)

Gayhurst is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced HR and Compliance
Officer to join our friendly team on a part time basis, working closely with the Head and
Bursar.

Primarily, you will oversee the recruitment of new staff, the annual cycle of policy
reviews, general HR functions and advice, and ensure that the school is up to date with
regulatory compliance as set out by government agencies and the Independent Schools
Inspectorate.

The successful candidate will preferably be CIPD qualified, and ideally will have Safer
Recruitment knowledge/experience of HR in education. A good knowledge of KCSIE and ISI
regulations will also be required. Strong administrative skills, excellent attention to detail
and a willing and flexible approach will be essential.
