Maths Teacher

(September 2021)

Gayhurst is seeking a specialist Maths teacher capable of inspiring pupils in this important subject across Years 4-6 to work alongside the current Head of Maths. The successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the primary Maths curriculum relevant for 11+ assessments for grammar and independent school entry. The ability to enthuse pupils with a passion for the subject, develop confident numeracy skills and problem-solving ability will be essential. Prior experience of working in a prep school will be advantageous, as will the potential to become the Head of Department in due course.

The post is for September 2021 and the salary will be commensurate with experience.

Gayhurst is seeking to appoint an inspirational and dedicated Early Years or Key Stage 1 Teacher to join our friendly and highly professional team. The successful candidate will be a creative and committed teacher with excellent classroom practice and a thorough knowledge of teaching from Reception to Year 2.
