If you have any concerns regarding the safety or welfare of a member of the Gayhurst community, please contact safeguarding@gayhurstschool.co.uk with details of your concern and a member of our Safeguarding team will respond as soon as possible.

At Gayhurst we understand that it is everybody’s responsibility to safeguard children. We believe a child centred approach is fundamental to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of every student. A child centred approach means we strive always to keep the child in focus when making decisions about their lives and working together with them, their families as well as partner agencies. All staff are expected to be vigilant to the needs of our students and always act in the best interests of any child so that they have the best outcomes. All staff receive annual safeguarding training.
