Church Visits
Year 4 have been learning all about ‘The Church’ in their RS lessons recently and visited both the St James’ churches in Fulmer and Gerrards Cross to complete a comparative study of the buildings, their features and the role ‘The Church’ plays within the local communities.
The children had the opportunity to ring the bells, look at the architecture and participate in some of the activities on offer. They also completed some lovely brass rubbings onto stained glass window outlines as well as meeting our new Rector Matt Beeby, a parent of one of our own Year 4 children, Emma.
Thank you to Guy Mansell and all the staff who generously gave up their time.
