This week Nursery have been getting ready for the Harvest assembly on Friday. They have been practising their Harvest songs, listening to the story of The Little Red Hen and learning how bread is made. On Thursday they had lots of messy fun making their own bread rolls to take home.

The proud parents of our Junior School children congregated in Gibbs Hall for their Harvest Festival assembly this morning. The children filed in carrying the gifts and plants that would then be delivered to some local elderly residents.

Our Year 2 boys and girls, along with their teachers (and some helpful mummies) were welcomed warmly by the residents of Edith Bell House and Glebe House. The ladies and gentleman were delighted by the children performing their Harvest poems and also with their lovely gifts.
