The Pride of Gayhurst

We were delighted to welcome our school community back together on Friday before half-term for our Open Afternoon. Children use this opportunity to give their families a guided tour of their school, showing off all they have done so far this year and the STEAM week activities they had undertaken (STEAM = Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Maths).

It was a particularly special afternoon given the long break from bringing everyone at the school together and the joyous atmosphere was testament to how much everyone enjoyed themselves.

Our catering department wowed everyone with their homemade cakes, which only added to the positive feeling as everyone made their way home for half-term
