The Baby in the Bullrushes

Every year, as part of their RS curriculum. Year 5 study the Old Testament Bible story of Moses.

As a fun, practical exercise the children build a moses basket. They must choose materials that will protect the baby from the elements, be a form of camouflage and most importantly, float.

Once all the children have brought their creations in to school, Miss Legg leads a lesson where they test them on water.
